Latex comes from wood extracted from the bark of the rubber tree (without the tree being cut). Unlike synthetic substances, latex foaming does not require the use of chemicals, but rather occurs through a natural whipping action. Vulcanized at high temperatures it remains elastic, odorless and non-deformable. Latex is hypoallergenic, bacteriostatic, ideal for preventing mite allergies.
